The referee showed Alexandre Porte the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 4 played minutes Meylan got a freekick which was hit by Alexandre Porte. The audience was convinced that Felix Cochard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Kévin Mousseau was relentless in the 10th minute of the game. The referee gave Alexandre Porte a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Luc Leterme was the one to do the kick off. Luc Leterme's late challenge caught a Meylan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Luc Leterme helped the player get up and apologised. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Michel Nouet in the 55th managed to get into a good position. Meylan's Kévin Mousseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luc Leterme in the 92nd minute of play. Michel Nouet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
