An unexpectedly hard shot by Andre Edmond in the 3rd minute of play forced Plivien's goalkeeper Arthur Wittmann to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th minute, Constantin Bienfait hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 7th minute of the match Carlos Bourguignon sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Arthur Wittmann skillfully saved the ball. Arthur Wittmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eliott Peyraud went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Arthur Wittmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eliott Peyraud in the 16th minute of play. Andre Edmond recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 17th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Djibril Perichon during the 25th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 25 played minutes Mulatière got a freekick which was hit by Djibril Perichon. Pierre-Henri Bellet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Bally in the 28th minute of the match. The supporters of Plivien booed when Mulatière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Louison Sautereau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 29 minutes, Calvin Bally managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Plivien's supporters crossed their fingers, but Calvin Bally was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 31st minute, Calvin Bally got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Roger Noury sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 41 minutes into the game, Eliott Peyraud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Arthur Wittmann was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Andre Edmond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Andre Edmond was the one to do the kick off. Mulatière's Pierre-Henri Bellet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calvin Bally in the 52nd minute of play. Pierre-Henri Bellet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Noury, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andre Edmond in the 56th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arthur Wittmann prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Andre Edmond sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd match minute, Plivien was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calvin Bally to maneuver through the defense. Roger Noury fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pierre-Henri Bellet having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 69th minute, Roger Noury managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plivien's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Noury was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Henri Bellet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calvin Bally struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Pierre-Henri Bellet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Plivien. Roger Noury received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 73rd minute. Pierre-Henri Bellet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 74 minutes, Roger Fresnel mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Mulatière and the Plivien players grew even worse after the yellow card. Roger Fresnel hit a great freekick 74 minutes into the match. Pierre-Henri Bellet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Noury, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. When Roger Noury came up free with the goalie in the 80th minute, the Plivien fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roger Noury couldn't finish the play. Calvin Bally received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Pierre-Henri Bellet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 84th minute Calvin Bally shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Pierre-Henri Bellet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 86th minute, Roger Noury managed to get in a good position for a shot. Plivien's supporters rose to their feet, but Roger Noury was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pierre-Henri Bellet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Calvin Bally in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Pierre-Henri Bellet saved Mulatière from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Louison Sautereau during the 91st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Mulatière getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Louison Sautereau hit a great ball. If Eliott Peyraud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The Mulatière supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Mulatière would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
