Madeleine's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daryl Laplace was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Madeleine's Ethan Capet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Georges Dubrulle in the 13th minute of play. In the 14th match minute, Madeleine was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Norbert Beauchamp to maneuver through the defense. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Karim Coutant's late challenge caught a Eaubonne's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Karim Coutant helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 28th minute of the game. One of Madeleine:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Eaubonne:s goal. Theo Daussy shot the penalty kick by force right in the crossbar. No goal. 31 minutes into the match, Madeleine's goal looked a bit too open when Georges Dubrulle came free, but Ethan Capet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jean-Philippe Frin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Capet having to interfere. Ethan Capet was a little too slow when Georges Dubrulle got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 40th minute. The score was now 1-0. Georges Dubrulle sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Georges Dubrulle stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute Vivien Bisiaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dominique Aubourg kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. In the 56th minute, Georges Dubrulle got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hubert Haas made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Daryl Laplace sent off a good shot on target. Eaubonne's Georges Dubrulle got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Madeleine getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Norbert Beauchamp hit a great ball. Georges Dubrulle scored 2-0 in the 63rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ethan Capet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 71st minute Vivien Bisiaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hubert Haas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Eaubonne defense, Vivien Bisiaux kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hubert Haas. The Eaubonne fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hubert Haas should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Madeleine getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Paul-Henri Malin hit a great ball. Georges Dubrulle fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ethan Capet having to interfere. In the 82nd minute Jean-Philippe Frin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ethan Capet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience was convinced that Georges Dubrulle's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ethan Capet was relentless in the 85th minute of the game. When Dominique Aubourg came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Eaubonne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dominique Aubourg couldn't finish the play. Hubert Haas made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Daryl Laplace sent off a good shot on target. Madeleine's Ethan Capet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jean-Philippe Frin in the 96th minute of play. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Eaubonne had won after a very even match.
