A collision led to Vred getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Augustin Thuilliez hit a great ball. 14 minutes into the match, Cimiez's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Houze came free, but Léo Perre reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 15 minutes, Cyrille Hourlier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cimiez's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cyrille Hourlier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Theo Chave's late challenge caught a Vred's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Laurent Baudry made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cyrille Hourlier in the 26th minute of play. In the 32nd minute, Vred's Thierry Houze ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Léo Perre. Léo Perre yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Cimiez's Léo Perre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thierry Houze in the 40th minute of play. 42 minutes into the match, Aymerick Pham notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Cimiez's Léo Perre. Léo Perre was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it.

When Aymerick Pham came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Vred fans jumped to their feet.
