Cyprien Sabin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 7 minutes into the match, Domont's goal looked a bit too open when Jocelyn Daunay came free, but Cyprien Sabin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Domont booed when Canebas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Herbert Segond didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 10 played minutes Canebas got a freekick which was hit by Jocelyn Daunay. Donovan Merlot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 15th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Christophe Denos having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Canebas's Herbert Segond got a free kick in the 16th minute. Jean-Christophe Denos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorian Saison, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Jean-Baptiste Douaud had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Canebas's Jean-Baptiste Douaud in the 26th minute got a chance for a shot 26th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A collision led to Domont getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Clovis Briard hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Jean-Baptiste Douaud left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Canebas fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1.
53 minutes into the match, Domont's goalkeeper Cyprien Sabin had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jean-Baptiste Douaud. If Jocelyn Daunay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
