Salim Delville in the 3rdth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Victorien Tranchard, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. 7 minutes into the match, Grassette's goal looked a bit too open when Bernard Glorieux came free, but Stanislas Kubiak reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stanislas Kubiak took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malik Desse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Grassette getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Karim Delepine hit a great ball. After 14 minutes, Victor Visse mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grassette and the Beau Soleil players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 14th minute, Victor Visse hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Beau Soleil booed when Grassette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Karim Delepine didn't get a good kick on the ball. Willy Gaudard struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Victorien Tranchard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Grassette. Ferdinand Parrot was extremely unlucky when he, in the 23rd minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. Stanislas Kubiak showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Malik Desse in the 26th minute of the match. After 26 played minutes Grassette got a freekick which was hit by Salim Delville. After a defensive mix-up in Grassette's zone, Malik Desse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislas Kubiak came out of the goal and Malik Desse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Moise Gustave's late challenge caught a Grassette's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Moise Gustave helped the player get up and apologised. In the 31st minute, Moise Gustave hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Victorien Tranchard showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferdinand Parrot, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Victorien Tranchard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferdinand Parrot in the 41st minute of the match. Nelson Bigand hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. In the 47th minute, Ferdinand Parrot reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Victorien Tranchard. The goal made the score 1-0. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The wind increased when Ferdinand Parrot made the kick off in the second half. Malik Desse received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Stanislas Kubiak tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Grassette got a freekick which was hit by Karim Delepine. Malik Desse received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Stanislas Kubiak came out and tried to block the shot, but Malik Desse slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 57th minute. The audience was convinced that Willy Gaudard's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorien Tranchard was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Bernard Glorieux's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 71stth minute, Stanislas Kubiak skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. When Alex Schilling came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Beau Soleil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Schilling couldn't finish the play. Salim Delville's late challenge caught a Beau Soleil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Salim Delville helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Beau Soleil booed when Grassette was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salim Delville didn't get a good kick on the ball. Stanislas Kubiak made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bernard Glorieux in the 79th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Grassette's zone, Malik Desse stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Stanislas Kubiak came out of the goal and Malik Desse tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 90 minutes, Willy Gaudard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Grassette's supporters crossed their fingers, but Willy Gaudard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Grassette's Willy Gaudard got a good chance for a goal in the 92nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
