Carl Dupont struck a weak shot in the 3rd minute. Victorien Tranchard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pétrie. In the 5th minute, Samir Archambault got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Beau Soleil's Victorien Tranchard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Félicien Fourreau in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the game, Harry Mignot was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Pétrie's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Beau Soleil the free kick. After 13 played minutes Pétrie got a freekick which was hit by Harry Mignot. Bruno Jeanroy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Malik Desse, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bruno Jeanroy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Malik Desse in the 18th minute of play. Félicien Fourreau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Victorien Tranchard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Samir Archambault in the 22nd minute of the match. If Félicien Fourreau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The wind increased when Félicien Fourreau made the kick off in the second half. Beau Soleil's Victorien Tranchard proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 51st minute of the match, managed to save Beau Soleil from getting a goal against them. Samir Archambault received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Victorien Tranchard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Malik Desse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Malik Desse recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 70th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Beau Soleil's Felix Cointe got a free kick in the 71st minute. After recieving a nice pass, Pétrie's Luis Pierrat tried to score from far away in the 72nd minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Félicien Fourreau's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Victorien Tranchard was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. Samir Archambault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Félicien Fourreau in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Victorien Tranchard prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Samir Archambault could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Victorien Tranchard made a huge save. The supporters of Pétrie booed when Beau Soleil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 81 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Cointe didn't get a good kick on the ball. 85 minutes into the match, Pétrie's goal looked a bit too open when Malik Desse came free, but Bruno Jeanroy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 86th minute Bernard Glorieux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bruno Jeanroy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Malik Desse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bruno Jeanroy having to interfere. Malik Desse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pétrie were unable to convert their possession into goals, allowing Beau Soleil to leave the ground with a draw.
