Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Aymerick Lagarde made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jean-Francois Bocquet in the 3rd minute of play. A collision led to Lognes getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Paulo Canon hit a great ball. Albert Brunel was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Patrick Blasco left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lognes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean-Francois Bocquet in the 15th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aymerick Lagarde saved Talant from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Talant's Marcel Szymanski got a free kick in the 17th minute. If Patrick Blasco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. After 35 played minutes Talant got a freekick which was hit by Terry Brugere. Aymerick Lagarde stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jean-Francois Bocquet's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute, Jean-Paul Lelarge got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 41st minute, Dan Le Mouel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Jean-Francois Bocquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 47th minute the ball was on its way in behind Talant's goalkeeper Aymerick Lagarde, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Patrick Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymerick Lagarde having to interfere. The Talant players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lognes were winning 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jean-Paul Lelarge to make the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lognes's goalkeeper Justin Bardeau, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 63rd minute, Jean-Francois Bocquet reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Aymerick Lagarde. The goal made the score 0-2. 73 minutes into the match, Talant's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Francois Bocquet came free, but Aymerick Lagarde reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Talant's Terry Brugere got a free kick in the 73rd minute. Patrick Blasco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymerick Lagarde having to interfere. 81 minutes into the match, Marcel Szymanski notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Lognes's Justin Bardeau. Justin Bardeau was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 90th match minute, Lognes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Canon to maneuver through the defense. The Lognes supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Lognes would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
