In the 3rd match minute, Wahagnies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Renaud Combret to maneuver through the defense. After 4 played minutes, Gaubiving's Anthony Arbogast shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Valérien Ferry came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Gaubiving reached it. Valérien Ferry made a fantastic save in the 7th minute, when Franklin Derache sent off a good shot on target. Gameiro Fréchou fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Ferry having to interfere. When Antoine Vaux fell near the penalty area in the 9th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Wahagnies's protests and gave Antoine Vaux a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Wahagnies's Antoine Vaux got a free kick in the 9th minute. In the 11th minute of the match, Franklin Derache got a very nice opportunity to score, but Valérien Ferry was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. When Rayan Gonneau fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gaubiving's protests and gave Rayan Gonneau a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 14 minutes, Hippolyte Eckert managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hippolyte Eckert might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jordy Sourisseau. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Hippolyte Eckert ran back to his position shaking his head. After the first half Wahagnies were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Arnold Ollagnier to strike the kick off in the second half. Valérien Ferry stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gameiro Fréchou's shot from short distance in the 51st minute. Gameiro Fréchou took the ball and in the 54 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Valérien Ferry. Valérien Ferry dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. In the 61st minute, Hippolyte Eckert ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jordy Sourisseau was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Eden Sardin hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the match, Hippolyte Eckert had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Jordy Sourisseau. Gaubiving's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Hippolyte Eckert was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-3. Franklin Derache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Ferry having to interfere. Valérien Ferry took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Franklin Derache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 85th minute, Gameiro Fréchou got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 89thth minute of the game Arnold Ollagnier who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Gaubiving's Jordy Sourisseau was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Wahagnies had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
