Gregory Chapron helped the player get up and apologised. Gregory Chapron hit a great freekick 8 minutes into the match. Roger Piou might have been able to make a better finish in the 9th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Manuel Drouet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Roger Piou ran back to his position shaking his head. Manuel Drouet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roger Piou, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Piou in the 13th minute of play forced Bou's goalkeeper Manuel Drouet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Maximilien Bertheau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Lucien Poli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Bou booed when Gratentour was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jean-Michel Percheron didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 34th minute Emeric Hoarau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lucien Poli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bou's Maximilien Bertheau suffered a concussion after 37 minutes and had to leave the field. When Hugues Lys fell near the penalty area in the 37th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gratentour's protests and gave Hugues Lys a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Gratentour getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Hugues Lys hit a great ball. Joseph Dhondt struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Lucien Poli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bou. After some fancy dribbling in the 43rd minute, Emeric Hoarau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bou's supporters rose to their feet, but Emeric Hoarau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lucien Poli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gratentour's Ramzi Girardot got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar.

After having played for 52 minutes, Ramzi Girardot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Gratentour's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ramzi Girardot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 53 played minutes Bou got a freekick which was hit by Gael Souverain. Roger Piou scored 1-0 in the 54th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Manuel Drouet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The supporters of Bou booed when Gratentour was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Just Pflieger didn't get a good kick on the ball. Brice Perriot took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 62nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Manuel Drouet. Bou's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Ramzi Girardot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Roger Piou had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 69 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Gratentour! Emeric Hoarau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
