Truch's Willy Crepet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Émeric Bénezet in the 3rd minute of play. Darren Giraud's shot from long distance in the 14th minute was not bad at all, but Bouquiniére's Élie Laisne knew what was happening and pushed the ball into his arms just before it hit the right post. A collision led to Truch getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Salim Spielmann hit a great ball. When Émeric Million fell near the penalty area in the 19th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Bouquiniére's protests and gave Émeric Million a yellow card for diving instead. In the 19th minute, Émeric Million hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Émeric Million might have been able to make a better finish in the 22nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Willy Crepet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Émeric Million ran back to his position shaking his head. Willy Crepet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Émeric Million, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Bouquiniére getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Augustin Couton hit a great ball. Émeric Bénezet recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Émeric Million sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 38th minute of the match Bart Riot shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Willy Crepet showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Émeric Bénezet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 54th minute Fernand Suarez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Élie Laisne saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 54th match minute, Bouquiniére was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Guy Ros to maneuver through the defense. Jean-Pierre Gaston sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Émeric Million had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernand Suarez in the 69th minute of play forced Bouquiniére's goalkeeper Élie Laisne to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 71 minutes, Émeric Million managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bouquiniére's supporters crossed their fingers, but Émeric Million was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Émeric Million had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 80thth minute of the game Fernand Suarez who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bouquiniére's Élie Laisne was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Truch's Willy Crepet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 83rd minute of the match, managed to save Truch from getting a goal against them. Émeric Million sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Bouquiniére booed when Truch was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Darren Giraud didn't get a good kick on the ball.
