Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Adam Escot kicked off to start the match. Octave Jahier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felicien Lautier having to interfere. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Hontane's goalkeeper Felicien Lautier, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 13 minutes, Adam Escot managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hontane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Escot was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Germain Sardin hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. Danny Le Texier made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gerald Pesce in the 15th minute. Gerald Pesce sent away a hard shot on goal in the 20th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Gerald Pesce came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Hontane fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gerald Pesce couldn't finish the play. A collision led to Hontane getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Maximilien Carion hit a great ball. 28 minutes into the match, Hontane's goal looked a bit too open when Paulo Charlon came free, but Felicien Lautier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mont's Danny Le Texier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 29th minute of the match, managed to save Mont from getting a goal against them. After having played for 31 minutes, Gerald Pesce managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hontane's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gerald Pesce was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Gerald Pesce charged in rather forcefully in the 36th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Octave Jahier to make the kick off. After 51 played minutes Hontane got a freekick which was hit by Robin Roguet. Paulo Charlon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Felicien Lautier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Hontane was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Armand Grivel to maneuver through the defense. Maximilien Carion got his second yellow card in the match during the 63rd minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After 64 played minutes Hontane got a freekick which was hit by Maximilien Carion. Felicien Lautier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Octave Jahier in the 76th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Hontane's zone, Paulo Charlon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Felicien Lautier came out of the goal and Paulo Charlon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Octave Jahier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
