Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Gael Jouglet started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marvin Ribot during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Méréville's Marvin Ribot got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Méréville's zone, Armand Milesi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Andre Terrien came out of the goal and Armand Milesi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute Isaac Jay shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Germain Fabiani saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 13 minutes into the game, Ulysse Body was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Méréville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marquillies the free kick. Germain Fabiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Lemire, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. If Isaac Jay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 27th match minute, Marquillies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Basile Bourgois to maneuver through the defense. Germain Fabiani showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Igor Lemire, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. 35 minutes into the match, Marquillies's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Jay came free, but Germain Fabiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isaac Jay received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 37th minute. Germain Fabiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 40 played minutes Méréville got a freekick which was hit by Etienne Bernardet. Gael Jouglet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andre Terrien having to interfere. Igor Lemire received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 48th minute. Germain Fabiani tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Isaac Jay was the one to do the kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Basile Bourgois in the 58th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Andre Terrien saved Méréville from getting behind. 59 minutes into the game, Junior Brohan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Méréville's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Marquillies the free kick. After 60 played minutes Méréville got a freekick which was hit by Junior Brohan. Basile Bourgois recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 62nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 70 minutes into the match, Méréville's Isaac Jay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Germain Fabiani narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 71st minute, Isaac Jay fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Germain Fabiani, passed just outside the right post. After a rather tough play, Marquillies's Sebastien Tonnerre got a free kick in the 75th minute. Igor Lemire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Méréville's Isaac Jay got a good chance for a goal in the 82nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 83rd match minute, Marquillies was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastien Tonnerre to maneuver through the defense. 84 minutes into the match, Marquillies's goal looked a bit too open when Isaac Jay came free, but Germain Fabiani reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th minute, Isaac Jay reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Germain Fabiani. The goal made the score 1-1. Méréville's Andre Terrien played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gael Jouglet in the 96th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Marquillies's Sebastien Tonnerre got a free kick in the 98th minute. Isaac Jay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 100th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
