Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Rodrigue Auguet started the match with the kick off. Louison Bouville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Julien Bricard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 5 minutes into the match, Targnat's Aime Gerbaud sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Julien Bricard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 6th minute Louison Bouville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Julien Bricard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Xeuilley's goal looked a bit too open when Aime Gerbaud came free, but Julien Bricard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ramzi Jacquin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigue Auguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Targnat's Louison Bouville got a good chance for a goal in the 11th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Louison Bouville fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Julien Bricard having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Louison Bouville managed to get in a good position for a shot. Targnat's supporters rose to their feet, but Louison Bouville was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Julien Bricard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Valentin Chassin during the 18th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 18 played minutes Xeuilley got a freekick which was hit by Valentin Chassin. Aime Gerbaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Julien Bricard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ramzi Jacquin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigue Auguet in the 32nd minute of play. In the 34th minute, Brian Viguier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Raymond Matz came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Xeuilley fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Raymond Matz couldn't finish the play. Raymond Matz who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 42ndth minute tested the skills of Ramzi Jacquin when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Targnat's zone, Rodrigue Auguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ramzi Jacquin came out of the goal and Rodrigue Auguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rodrigue Auguet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Jacquin having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Aime Gerbaud to make the kick off. Djibril Cherel kicked well hit freekick during the 58th minute of the match. Raymond Matz struck a weak shot in the 59th minute. Ramzi Jacquin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeuilley. Louison Bouville sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Targnat's Aime Gerbaud got a good chance for a goal in the 64th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Michel Blachere fell near the penalty area in the 68th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Targnat's protests and gave Michel Blachere a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Targnat:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Xeuilley:s goal. The referee gave Xeuilley a penalty, 69 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gilbert Marie-Sainte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Targnat's Ramzi Jacquin. 1-0. Ramzi Jacquin showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Raymond Matz in the 72nd minute of the match. Julien Bricard was out of position in the 74 minute of play, and Aime Gerbaud capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Aime Gerbaud really showed his touch with that goal: 1-1. Rodrigue Auguet's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ramzi Jacquin read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. Xeuilley were awarded a corner in the 86th minute after Targnat's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Gilbert Marie-Sainte took the corner. A very nice done corner allowed Fabien Ortega to score against Ramzi Jacquin in Targnat's goal. 2-1 after 86 minutes. When Louison Bouville fell near the penalty area in the 92nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Targnat's protests and gave Louison Bouville a yellow card for diving instead. Aime Gerbaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Julien Bricard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xeuilley's Rodrigue Auguet got a good chance for a goal in the 100th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Xeuilley's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
