Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Rodrigue Auguet took the kick off in the first half of the match. Alfred Jamain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rodrigue Auguet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Jenlain's zone, Rodrigue Auguet stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alfred Jamain came out of the goal and Rodrigue Auguet tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raymond Matz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alfred Jamain showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rodrigue Auguet, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The supporters of Jenlain booed when Xeuilley was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valentin Chassin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Xeuilley's Raymond Matz got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Jenlain's Alfred Jamain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rodrigue Auguet in the 17th minute of play. A hard shot 20 in the game by Chris Houllier from a close distance when the talented Julien Bricard managed to make a qualified save. Xeuilley's players were relieved. Danny Soubrier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 26th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 29thth minute of the game Jonas Ledieu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Xeuilley's Julien Bricard was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Danny Soubrier during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Danny Soubrier hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Morgan Chagnaud sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Alfred Jamain skillfully saved the ball. Jonas Ledieu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Julien Bricard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Julien Bricard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jonas Ledieu in the 40th minute of the match. After 41 minutes, Raymond Matz mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Xeuilley and the Jenlain players grew even worse after the yellow card. Julien Bricard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ledieu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jonas Ledieu to strike the kick off in the second half. Julien Bricard came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Jenlain's Chris Houllier. But to his dismay, Chris Houllier quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Rodrigue Auguet struck a weak shot in the 57th minute. Alfred Jamain didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Xeuilley. Fabien Ortega hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Jenlain's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Rodrigue Auguet 63 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. 67 minutes into the game, Joe Magaud was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jenlain's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Xeuilley the free kick. In the 68th minute, Xeuilley got a penalty, and Gilbert Marie-Sainte placed the ball unsaveable into goal, by the right post. Julien Bricard took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jonas Ledieu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Raymond Matz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Raymond Matz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alfred Jamain didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Raymond Matz went, in the 98th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-4 was the resulting score.
