If Benoit Grillon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 7th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dylan Wargnier sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Manuel Aubert came free with the goalkeeper in the 15th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Simon Julie could save by the left post. Châtenay's Brandon Sarron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dylan Wargnier in the 17th minute of play. Simon Julie stood somewhat misplaced when Manuel Aubert came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 20 minute. Achille Capitaine got his second yellow card in the match during the 24th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. After a rather tough play, Châtenay's Achille Capitaine got a free kick in the 25th minute. In the 28th minute, Oscar Boudot hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Blaise Drouart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dylan Wargnier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Brandon Sarron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Simon Julie made an important save on a dangerous shot by Manuel Aubert in the 38th minute. Châtenay's Manuel Aubert got a good chance for a goal in the 40th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Châtenay booed when Aucamville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salomon Mauguin didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some careless play in the Châtenay defense, Dylan Wargnier kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Brandon Sarron. The Châtenay fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Brandon Sarron should have stopped the shot. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dylan Wargnier to strike the kick off in the second half. Brandon Sarron made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Gaston Burgard sent off a good shot on target. Aucamville's Simon Julie played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Aubert in the 57th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Blaise Drouart got free with Brandon Sarron in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 70 minutes into the match, Manuel Aubert notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Aucamville's Simon Julie. Simon Julie was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 82nd minute, Aucamville's Dylan Wargnier ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Brandon Sarron. Brandon Sarron yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-2. Benoit Grillon's late challenge caught a Aucamville's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Benoit Grillon helped the player get up and apologised. In the 86th match minute, Châtenay was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benoit Grillon to maneuver through the defense. After 89 played minutes Châtenay got a freekick which was hit by Oscar Boudot. Dylan Wargnier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Brandon Sarron read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Châtenay's zone, Blaise Drouart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Brandon Sarron came out of the goal and Blaise Drouart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 95th minute Dylan Wargnier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brandon Sarron saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Blaise Drouart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The Aucamville players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Châtenay from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
