Henri Sellin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Adrien Massiass short, quick shot in the 8thth minute got Bart Beauchamp to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 11 minutes into the game, Beaurecueil's Harold Rodier nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Henri Sellin made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Jonathan Boulay sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Valleroy's Henri Sellin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harold Rodier in the 20th minute of play. Luc Bene struck a weak shot in the 26th minute. Henri Sellin didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaurecueil. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Antonin Bellay in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Henri Sellin saved Valleroy from getting behind. Bart Beauchamp made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jonathan Boulay in the 37th minute of play. Valleroy's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Faudel Jay in the 42nd minute. Fabrice Gachet hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. If Jackson Seigneur had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harold Rodier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri Sellin having to interfere. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Harold Rodier recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Jackson Seigneur didn't miss a given chance and shot in short distance 0-2 via right post in the game's 65th minute. Beaurecueil's supporters showed their exhuberating excitement! When Luc Bene came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Beaurecueil fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Luc Bene couldn't finish the play. In the 72nd minute, Jonathan Boulay left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Valleroy fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-2. An unexpectedly hard shot by Harold Rodier in the 78th minute of play forced Valleroy's goalkeeper Henri Sellin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Faudel Jay's late challenge caught a Beaurecueil's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Faudel Jay helped the player get up and apologised. In the 84th minute, one of Valleroy:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Valleroy. Henri Sellin made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Jackson Seigneur sent off a good shot on target.
