The referee showed Eugene Lafarge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Eugene Lafarge kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Jonathan Boulay might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Eric Goyard. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alban Fradet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henri Sellin having to interfere. 93 minutes into the match, Valleroy's goal looked a bit too open when Marvin Massin came free, but Henri Sellin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Valleroy's Yvan Duplaix got a free kick in the 96th minute. Onnex's Eugene Lafarge suffered a concussion in the 100th minute, after a hard challenge, and had to leave the field. When Edgard Bonamy fell near the penalty area in the 100th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Valleroy's protests and gave Edgard Bonamy a yellow card for diving instead. After 102 played minutes, Onnex's Donald Le Gall shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Henri Sellin came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Onnex reached it. The Onnex supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Valleroy's performance. The match ended with a win for Valleroy.
