Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Jean Cazal took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 10th minute Jean Cazal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romaric Paulet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 12th minute, Charlie Gambier hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henri Attard in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Faustin Audic, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Menucourt's Faustin Audic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 17th minute of the match, managed to save Menucourt from getting a goal against them. If Fabrice Châton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Faustin Audic made a fantastic save in the 22nd minute, when Henri Attard sent off a good shot on target. After 25 played minutes Angon got a freekick which was hit by Samir Auffret. Henri Attard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Faustin Audic tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jim Zitouni during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Angon's Jim Zitouni got a free kick in the 34th minute. The supporters of Menucourt booed when Angon was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Raoul Dacquin didn't get a good kick on the ball. Roman Demars sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Roman Demars had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roman Demars fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Romaric Paulet having to interfere.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Fabrice Châton to make the kick off. In the 51st minute Fabrice Châton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Faustin Audic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sam Boinot hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. When Roman Demars came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Menucourt fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roman Demars couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jean Cazal in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Romaric Paulet saved Angon from getting behind. Faustin Audic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fabrice Châton in the 71st minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cyprien Delhomme during the 74th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Fabrice Châton in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Faustin Audic prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 81 minutes into the game, Léonard Derville was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Menucourt's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Angon the free kick. After 81 played minutes Menucourt got a freekick which was hit by Léonard Derville. After some careless play in the Menucourt defense, Fabrice Châton kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Faustin Audic. The Menucourt fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Faustin Audic should have stopped the shot. Faustin Audic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jim Zitouni in the 97th minute of the match. A collision led to Menucourt getting a freekick after 97 minutes play. Brice Fuentes hit a great ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Menucourt players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Angon.
