A hard shot 71 in the game by Mario Wenger from a close distance when the talented Mathias Havart managed to make a qualified save. Pouilly's players were relieved. Barthélemy's Paul-Henri Gaignard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fabien Dervaux in the 73rd minute of play. With a little luck, Pouilly's Mathias Havart got control of the ball when Mario Wenger tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mario Wenger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Edgard Sourisseau received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Pouilly's Gaetan Carvalho got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Steve Mouchard fell near the penalty area in the 91st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barthélemy's protests and gave Steve Mouchard a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Pouilly booed when Barthélemy was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Steve Mouchard didn't get a good kick on the ball. Fabien Dervaux struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Paul-Henri Gaignard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pouilly. If Mario Wenger had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
