Guibeville's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jean-Christophe Valla was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Oissel's zone, Ronan Arrighi stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Damien Lehmann came out of the goal and Ronan Arrighi tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Denis Vaissiere blasted a shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karim Mouchet having to make a save. Jean-Christophe Valla fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Mouchet having to interfere. Karim Mouchet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denis Vaissiere in the 23rd minute of the match. Denis Vaissiere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Mouchet having to interfere. Yvan Billet kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Guibeville's Ronan Arrighi got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The supporters of Oissel booed when Guibeville was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ronan Arrighi didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Jean-Christophe Valla fell near the penalty area in the 30th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Oissel's protests and gave Jean-Christophe Valla a yellow card for diving instead. In the 30th minute, Jean-Christophe Valla hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ronan Arrighi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Damien Lehmann having to interfere. In the 39th match minute, Oissel was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jerome Rigollet to maneuver through the defense. 43 minutes into the match, Franklin Bellocq had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Damien Lehmann. Oissel's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Bellocq was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Denis Vaissiere made the kick off in the second half. Karim Mouchet made an important save on a dangerous shot by Jean-Christophe Valla in the 51st minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Denis Vaissiere managed to get in a good position for a shot. Oissel's supporters rose to their feet, but Denis Vaissiere was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Karim Mouchet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Through an outstanding action, after 54 minutes, Karim Mouchet successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Ronan Arrighi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Damien Lehmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 69th minute, Oissel's Denis Vaissiere ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Karim Mouchet. Karim Mouchet yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-3. Denis Vaissiere fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Mouchet having to interfere. If Jean-Christophe Valla had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Oissel's Yvan Billet got a free kick in the 87th minute. After 88 minutes of play, Guibeville's Franklin Bellocq made it 3-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Damien Lehmann was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damien Lehmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronan Arrighi, who was totally free with the ball in the 92nd minute. Damien Lehmann didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Franklin Bellocq went, in the 96th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-3 was the resulting score. Oissel's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
