Richard Prevot showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Djibril Urbain, who was totally free with the ball in the 3rd minute. Victorien Charrier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gaston Claret having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Boris Grimaud in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Gaston Claret prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Honore Pichard scored 0-1 in the 13th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Richard Prevot, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a rather tough play, Foutgeaudrant's Germain Telliez got a free kick in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute of the match Mehdi Baradat sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gaston Claret skillfully saved the ball. Foutgeaudrant's Honore Pichard got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Boris Grimaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 23rd minute. Gaston Claret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ferdinand Michalski kicked well hit freekick during the 24th minute of the match. In the 38th minute Djibril Urbain shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Prevot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferdinand Michalski was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 40th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 43rd minute, Germain Telliez made a precise shot to the right of Richard Prevot. Meyzieu's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. Dimitri Gautron's late challenge caught a Meyzieu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dimitri Gautron helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Foutgeaudrant getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Dimitri Gautron hit a great ball. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Boris Grimaud to strike the kick off in the second half. Honore Pichard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Prevot having to interfere. 57 minutes into the game, Boris Grimaud cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gaston Claret was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Djibril Urbain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Foutgeaudrant's supporters rose to their feet, but Djibril Urbain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Prevot breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Germain Telliez's late challenge caught a Meyzieu's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Germain Telliez helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Foutgeaudrant getting a freekick after 75 minutes play. Germain Telliez hit a great ball. When Victorien Charrier came up free with the goalie in the 77th minute, the Meyzieu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Victorien Charrier couldn't finish the play. After having played for 79 minutes, Honore Pichard managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Foutgeaudrant's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honore Pichard was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Djibril Urbain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Richard Prevot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gaston Claret made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victorien Charrier in the 85th minute of play. Foutgeaudrant's Germain Telliez got his second yellow card of the match in the 86th minute. The referee ordered Germain Telliez off the ground. Germain Telliez kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Foutgeaudrant's zone, Boris Grimaud stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaston Claret came out of the goal and Boris Grimaud tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Boris Grimaud received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Gaston Claret tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
