Samuel Ménard showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Georges Thibout in the 15th minute of the match. Desire Correia didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Jérôme Lefort went, in the 20th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Georges Thibout could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Samuel Ménard made a huge save. In the 28th minute, Ranquet's Georges Thibout ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Samuel Ménard. Samuel Ménard yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. When Hocine Albert came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Frègefond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hocine Albert couldn't finish the play. In the 42nd match minute, Frègefond was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paul Viel to maneuver through the defense. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The wind increased when Georges Thibout made the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Georges Thibout's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Samuel Ménard was relentless in the 53rd minute of the game. With a little luck, Ranquet's Desire Correia got control of the ball when Yves Meslin tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 57 played minutes Ranquet got a freekick which was hit by Aymerick Pagnoux. When Amine Pavageau fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frègefond's protests and gave Amine Pavageau a yellow card for diving instead. Amine Pavageau kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Georges Thibout sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frederic Lemaire in the 74th minute of play forced Frègefond's goalkeeper Samuel Ménard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Ranquet's Georges Thibout in the 75th minute got a chance for a shot 75th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Frègefond's goalie prevented a goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Hocine Albert in the 78th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Desire Correia prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Frègefond getting a freekick after 82 minutes play. Amine Pavageau hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Alexandre Pochard managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ranquet's supporters rose to their feet, but Alexandre Pochard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Samuel Ménard breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Georges Thibout in the 86th minute of play forced Frègefond's goalkeeper Samuel Ménard to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Georges Thibout came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Ranquet fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Georges Thibout couldn't finish the play. Frederic Lemaire sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 96 minutes of play, Ranquet's Georges Thibout made it 4-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Samuel Ménard was left in no man's land by his defense there! Ranquet's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
