Marco Dehay showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugene Lestage, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. 8 minutes into the match, Chambouin's goal looked a bit too open when Thierry Wagner came free, but Marco Dehay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marco Dehay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eugene Lestage in the 9th minute of the match. Eugene Lestage fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Dehay having to interfere. 15 minutes into the match, Chambouin's goal looked a bit too open when Eugene Lestage came free, but Marco Dehay reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Rose's late challenge caught a Thiant's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ryan Rose helped the player get up and apologised. In the 16th match minute, Chambouin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ryan Rose to maneuver through the defense. 18 minutes into the game, Thierry Wagner cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Marco Dehay was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eugene Lestage in the 22nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Dehay saved Chambouin from getting behind. When Robert Retailleau came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Chambouin fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Retailleau couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 28th minute, Robert Retailleau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chambouin's supporters rose to their feet, but Robert Retailleau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Ferrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Thiant's Joe Ferrero got control of the ball when Gabriel Massart tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 34th minute, Robert Retailleau fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Joe Ferrero, passed just outside the right post. In the 38th minute, Robert Retailleau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thierry Wagner received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Marco Dehay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 41st minute, Geoffroy Brelivet hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Chambouin's Robert Retailleau in the 43rd minute got a chance for a shot 43rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Thiant's goalie prevented a goal. The Chambouin players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Thiant were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robert Retailleau to strike the kick off in the second half. The supporters of Thiant booed when Chambouin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 55 match minutes in a wonderful position. Robert Retailleau didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thiant's Joe Ferrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Massart in the 60th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Gabriel Massart managed to get in a good position for a shot. Chambouin's supporters rose to their feet, but Gabriel Massart was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Joe Ferrero breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gabriel Massart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Joe Ferrero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Massart, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Geoffroy Brelivet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Dehay having to interfere. Eugene Lestage might have been able to make a better finish in the 80th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Marco Dehay. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eugene Lestage ran back to his position shaking his head. Thiant's Joe Ferrero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriel Massart in the 84th minute of play. If Thierry Wagner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 91st minute, Eugene Lestage got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ryan Rose kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. Joe Ferrero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Retailleau in the 95th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Thiant eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
