The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tommy Padre during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Chambouin getting a freekick after 3 minutes play. Tommy Padre hit a great ball. In the 6th minute, one of Chambouin:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Chambouin. The referee gave Elsau a penalty, 7 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henri Robineau, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Chambouin's Marco Dehay. 1-0. Marco Dehay made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Mike Thorez sent off a good shot on target. 12 minutes into the match, Chambouin's goalkeeper Marco Dehay had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mike Thorez. After 13 played minutes Chambouin got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Padre. After 15 played minutes Chambouin got a freekick which was hit by Sabri Roque. When Mike Thorez came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Elsau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mike Thorez couldn't finish the play. After 17 played minutes Chambouin got a freekick which was hit by Robert Retailleau. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind Elsau's goalkeeper Eugène Guyonnet, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eugène Guyonnet showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gabriel Massart in the 24th minute of the match. Robert Retailleau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eugène Guyonnet having to interfere. Chambouin's Marco Dehay played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Roman Houée in the 29th minute of play. Roman Houée received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Marco Dehay tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Chambouin's Ryan Rose got a good chance for a goal in the 32nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Gabriel Massart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gabriel Massart received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Eugène Guyonnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Célestin Boulant hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Roman Houée made a kick off. Loïc Maingot hit a great freekick 52 minutes into the match. Marco Dehay took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Roman Houée, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Henri Robineau hit a great freekick 57 minutes into the match. The audience was convinced that Mike Thorez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marco Dehay was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. In the 61st minute Roman Houée shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marco Dehay saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Elsau's zone, Gabriel Massart stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eugène Guyonnet came out of the goal and Gabriel Massart tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Gabriel Massart recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Gabriel Massart could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 71st minute of the match, but Eugène Guyonnet made a huge save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adil Belleville during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 77th minute, Adil Belleville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Roman Houée struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Marco Dehay didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Elsau. Roman Houée fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marco Dehay having to interfere. Marco Dehay showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mathis Vauzelle in the 89th minute of the match. With his leg Eugène Guyonnet managed to avoid a goal in the 95thth minute, when Chambouin's Gabriel Massart fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. Elsau were victorious despite being under pressure from Chambouin for much of the match.
