Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Teddy Abrial kicked off to start the match. Donovan Houpert blasted a shot towards the goal in the 3rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ramzi Bodart having to make a save. Marc Senez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ramzi Bodart having to interfere. Donovan Houpert sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 7 played minutes Sart got a freekick which was hit by Romaric Brevet. In the 13th minute, Dimitri Pinto hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sofiane Labarthe struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Roland Girodon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sart. If Marc Senez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match clock showed 19 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Donovan Houpert sped through Sart's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Ramzi Bodart. 26 minutes into the match, Sart's goal looked a bit too open when Marc Senez came free, but Ramzi Bodart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 31st minute Donovan Houpert shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ramzi Bodart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Marc Senez recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Donovan Houpert to strike the kick off in the second half. After 52 played minutes Meurchin got a freekick which was hit by Billy Deniau. Yannick Guénon lost his temper 55 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 54th minute of the game. One of Meurchin:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sart:s goal. Roland Girodon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teddy Abrial in the 67th minute of play. Teddy Abrial sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Meurchin's Billy Deniau got a free kick in the 72nd minute. A collision led to Meurchin getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Mohamed Bogaert hit a great ball. Simon Colin took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 75th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Roland Girodon. Meurchin's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Marc Senez could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 78th minute of the match, but Ramzi Bodart made a huge save. Teddy Abrial fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Girodon having to interfere. Sylvain Herpin's late challenge caught a Sart's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sylvain Herpin helped the player get up and apologised. 84 minutes into the game, one of Meurchin:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 86th minute there was a penalty for Sart. Simon Colin stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Roland Girodon. 2-2. After a defensive mix-up in Meurchin's zone, Teddy Abrial stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Roland Girodon came out of the goal and Teddy Abrial tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 93 minutes into the match, Meurchin's goal looked a bit too open when Teddy Abrial came free, but Roland Girodon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sofiane Labarthe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Roland Girodon having to interfere. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
