Vincent Samuel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sam Davin's shot from short distance in the 11th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Colonie's Kylian Urbaniak slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vincent Samuel. That made the score 1-0 after 17 minutes of play. Kylian Urbaniak's late challenge caught a Béthune's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kylian Urbaniak helped the player get up and apologised. Kylian Urbaniak kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Robin Lecordiers short, quick shot in the 75thth minute got Samir Vandaele to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With his leg Samir Vandaele managed to avoid a goal in the 77thth minute, when Béthune's Robin Lecordier fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Vincent Samuel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sam Davin in the 79th minute of play. 82 minutes into the match, Béthune's Titouan Jaegle sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Samir Vandaele narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
