Raoul Besombes struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Vincent Samuel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Veraz. 22 minutes into the game, Valerien Jouenne was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The corner led Béthune's Celestin Cavalli to fire away a dangerous shot which Pierrick Risch despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Raoul Besombes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vincent Samuel having to interfere. 39 minutes into the game, Hugues Bonnefont was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. After a defensive mix-up in Veraz's zone, Titouan Jaegle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Pierrick Risch came out of the goal and Titouan Jaegle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Titouan Jaegle made a kick off. Pierrick Risch showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Titouan Jaegle in the 55th minute of the match. Mohamed Duflot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Valerien Jouenne kicked well hit freekick during the 87th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Veraz's goal looked a bit too open when Titouan Jaegle came free, but Pierrick Risch reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The Veraz players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Béthune from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
