The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Émeric Coupez during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Fontain getting a freekick after 6 minutes play. Émeric Coupez hit a great ball. Olivier Seguin's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Steven Calmet read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. 15 minutes into the match, Violaines's goal looked a bit too open when Sammy Reyes came free, but Davy Druart reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Olivier Seguin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marin Houdart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Grégoire Marque had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sammy Reyes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Davy Druart read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marin Houdart in the 34th minute of play forced Fontain's goalkeeper Steven Calmet to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marin Houdart sent away a hard shot on goal in the 37th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Steven Calmet came out of the goal in the 39th minute to try and stop a shot by Violaines's Olivier Seguin. But to his dismay, Olivier Seguin quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sammy Reyes in the 43rd minute of play forced Violaines's goalkeeper Davy Druart to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Grégoire Marque fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Davy Druart having to interfere.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Olivier Seguin stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Olivier Seguin received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Steven Calmet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 55th minute, Olivier Seguin reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Steven Calmet. The goal made the score 0-2. Ewan Collange hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Grégoire Marque fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fontain's protests and gave Grégoire Marque a yellow card for diving instead. Grégoire Marque kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. Sammy Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 64th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davy Druart took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Grégoire Marque, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 75 played minutes Violaines got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Zimmermann. After having played for 76 minutes, Grégoire Marque managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fontain's supporters crossed their fingers, but Grégoire Marque was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Steven Calmet came out of the goal in the 78th minute to try and stop a shot by Violaines's Marin Houdart. But to his dismay, Marin Houdart quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Raphaël Astruc blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Steven Calmet having to make a save. Sammy Reyes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Davy Druart showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sammy Reyes, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. In the 92nd minute, Grégoire Marque got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Steven Calmet made a fantastic save in the 97th minute, when Marin Houdart sent off a good shot on target. The Violaines players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
