When the match had gone on for 3 minutes, Lucas Ranson took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Ben Floquet to make any attempt to save it. Ben Floquet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gerald Chapron, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Bouquerel's late challenge caught a Fourques's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Gerald Chapron might have been able to make a better finish in the 11th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ben Floquet. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Gerald Chapron ran back to his position shaking his head. A collision led to Fourques getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Gerald Chapron hit a great ball. Willy Debarre showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alexandre Alessandri, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. When Jean-Cyrille Perraudeau came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Boël fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jean-Cyrille Perraudeau couldn't finish the play.
