After a defensive mix-up in Marsinval's zone, Alex Goudard stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edgard Auguin came out of the goal and Alex Goudard tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Timothé Fritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Guérineau having to interfere. In the 21st minute, Timothé Fritz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Annonciade's Gaston Tarbouriech sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edgard Auguin narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Igor Fuster received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Zinedine Guérineau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 32nd minute, Marsinval's Timothé Fritz ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Zinedine Guérineau. Zinedine Guérineau yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-0. Alex Goudard kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. In the 47th minute Timothé Fritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zinedine Guérineau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Igor Fuster struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Zinedine Guérineau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Marsinval. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Timothé Fritz to make the kick off. Zinedine Guérineau showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Timothé Fritz, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. After 65 played minutes Annonciade got a freekick which was hit by Gaston Tarbouriech. After 66 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Annonciade! In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Marsinval. Luc Barou stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Zinedine Guérineau. 5-0. Alex Goudard's late challenge caught a Marsinval's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alex Goudard helped the player get up and apologised. Alex Goudard hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Edgard Auguin made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alex Goudard in the 79th minute. Timothé Fritz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Timothé Fritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Zinedine Guérineau having to interfere.
