After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Axel Alix managed to get in a good position for a shot. Soucarié's supporters rose to their feet, but Axel Alix was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valérien Marre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Greg Moquet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44th minute Greg Moquet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Paolini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Axel Alix to make the kick off. In the 56th minute, Axel Alix made a precise shot to the right of Valérien Marre. Prouvy's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. In the 64th minute Darren Lagneau shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valérien Marre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Prouvy's zone, Darren Lagneau stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valérien Marre came out of the goal and Darren Lagneau tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Darren Lagneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Valérien Marre having to interfere. Prouvy's Valérien Marre played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Alix in the 73rd minute of play. Hippolyte Bord kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. After 77 minutes Soucarié's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Thibault Dube who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Thibault Dube got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Valentin Paolini quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Valentin Paolini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Greg Moquet, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
