Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Marius Jorge took the kick off in the first half of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Didenheim's goal looked a bit too open when Dorian Millon came free, but Karim Delecourt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ryan Labalette received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Theo Granjon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gabriel Paillet sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 12 minutes into the match, Ryan Labalette had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Theo Granjon. Canton's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ryan Labalette was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. The Canton fans' excitement grew in the 23rd match minute when Canton's Marius Jorge looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. After 25 minutes, Matthieu Gruber mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Canton and the Didenheim players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 25 played minutes Canton got a freekick which was hit by Matthieu Gruber. Marius Jorge struck a weak shot in the 32nd minute. Karim Delecourt didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Canton. Canton's Theo Granjon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 39th minute of the match, managed to save Canton from getting a goal against them. Gabriel Paillet struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Theo Granjon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Didenheim. Ryan Labalette could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Theo Granjon made a huge save. Didenheim's Karim Delecourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorian Millon in the 45th minute of play. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gabriel Paillet to make the kick off. When the match had been going on for 59 minutes, Canton's Rayan Balle got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Karim Delecourt. The Didenheim fans' excitement grew in the 70th match minute when Didenheim's Ryan Labalette looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Theo Granjon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gabriel Paillet in the 75th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 77th minute by Dorian Millon got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. If Gabriel Paillet had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marius Jorge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karim Delecourt having to interfere. A hard shot 88 in the game by Dorian Millon from a close distance when the talented Karim Delecourt managed to make a qualified save. Didenheim's players were relieved. A collision led to Didenheim getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Joseph Teinturier hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Jorge in the 90th minute of play forced Didenheim's goalkeeper Karim Delecourt to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
