Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Laubaudie's Germain Tondu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Eliott Gleize fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Barbinière's protests and gave Eliott Gleize a yellow card for diving instead. In the 3rd minute, Eliott Gleize hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Alphonse Pallas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romain Machard, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11thth minute of the game André Barbeau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Laubaudie's Alphonse Pallas was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Florian Gassmann came free with the goalkeeper in the 14th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Éthan Balaguer could save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Barbinière's zone, Germain Tondu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Éthan Balaguer came out of the goal and Germain Tondu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Florian Gassmann's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Éthan Balaguer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 22nd minute of play. When Laubaudie's Germain Tondu in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Barbinière's goalie prevented a goal. Florian Gassmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Éthan Balaguer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Cédric Vulliez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alphonse Pallas was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Laubaudie's Germain Tondu got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Florian Gassmann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 38th minute of the match, but Éthan Balaguer made a huge save. In the 42nd minute, one of Laubaudie:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Laubaudie. Georges Grapin walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. A collision led to Laubaudie getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Hugues Mauroy hit a great ball. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
In the 54th match minute, Barbinière was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jack Jacquin to maneuver through the defense. After 56 played minutes Laubaudie got a freekick which was hit by Jacob Vigier. Florian Gassmann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Éthan Balaguer having to interfere. 63 minutes into the game, Florian Gassmann cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Éthan Balaguer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If André Barbeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. José Lataste succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-2 in the 70th playminute. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Leon Lafond managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laubaudie's supporters rose to their feet, but Leon Lafond was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éthan Balaguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 75th minute Florian Gassmann shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Éthan Balaguer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Laubaudie's goalkeeper Alphonse Pallas, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 77th minute, Germain Tondu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Laubaudie's supporters rose to their feet, but Germain Tondu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Éthan Balaguer breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The supporters of Laubaudie booed when Barbinière was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cédric Vulliez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 82 minutes into the match, Laubaudie's goalkeeper Alphonse Pallas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by José Lataste. If André Barbeau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, Laubaudie's Alphonse Pallas got control of the ball when José Lataste tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Barbinière's zone, Florian Gassmann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Éthan Balaguer came out of the goal and Florian Gassmann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 93rd minute, José Lataste ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alphonse Pallas was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. The Laubaudie supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Barbinière's performance. The match ended with a win for Barbinière.
