Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Gilles Royer took the kick off in the first half of the match. Camille Rodot showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gilles Royer in the 3rd minute of the match. Mettray were awarded a corner in the 4th minute after Bacalan's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Joel Besombes took the corner. In the 6th minute, Mettray's Gilles Labaune seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gilles Labaune the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Mettray protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gilles Labaune had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 7th match minute, Mettray was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilles Labaune to maneuver through the defense. Bacalan's Kevin Fauvel shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 8th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Aymerick Benhamou but with some difficulty. Bacalan's Titouan Janin got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Aymerick Benhamou made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Titouan Janin sent off a good shot on target. Titouan Janin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymerick Benhamou having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Titouan Janin got free with Aymerick Benhamou in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 26th minute, Edgard Miel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Mettray fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. In the 30th minute, Luc Trochu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edgard Miel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 42 minutes into the match, Bacalan's goal looked a bit too open when Edgard Miel came free, but Camille Rodot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camille Rodot took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcel Chevillon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Joel Besombes fell near the penalty area in the 45th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mettray's protests and gave Joel Besombes a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Mettray's Joel Besombes got a free kick in the 46th minute. Bacalan's Richard Murcia couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 46th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Mettray. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Franklin Chovet was the one to do the kick off. Titouan Janin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 57 minutes into the match, Mettray's goal looked a bit too open when Franklin Chovet came free, but Aymerick Benhamou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Edgard Miel received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Camille Rodot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edgard Miel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 67 minutes into the match, Mettray's goal looked a bit too open when Titouan Janin came free, but Aymerick Benhamou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aymerick Benhamou stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Titouan Janin's shot from short distance in the 68th minute. Franklin Chovet fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aymerick Benhamou having to interfere. Camille Rodot was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Edgard Miel showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-2 in the 74 minute of play. Titouan Janin scored 1-2 in the 77th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Aymerick Benhamou, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 83 minutes into the match, Mettray's goal looked a bit too open when Jean-Charles Boulenger came free, but Aymerick Benhamou reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aymerick Benhamou made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Titouan Janin in the 84th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Franklin Chovet got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mettray's Aymerick Benhamou played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Franklin Chovet in the 95th minute of play. The Mettray players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
