Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sidney Morant in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jean-Marie Vernhet prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Millery's Rodrigue Laure proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 19th minute of the match, managed to save Millery from getting a goal against them. Henri Bonnefont hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Sidney Morant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Matheo Fontenelle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Millery's supporters rose to their feet, but Matheo Fontenelle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean-Marie Vernhet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Marsinge's Anatole Renouard got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Sidney Morant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean-Marie Vernhet having to interfere. Matheo Fontenelle scored 0-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jean-Marie Vernhet, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After having played for 39 minutes, Matheo Fontenelle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Millery's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matheo Fontenelle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 45th minute Matheo Fontenelle shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jean-Marie Vernhet saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 47 played minutes Millery got a freekick which was hit by Romuald Laffargue. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Flavien Garbe charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Flavien Garbe the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In a very dangerous position, a player in Millery fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 56th minute. Penalty! A collision led to Marsinge getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Bruno Lopez hit a great ball. Matheo Fontenelle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Millery:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Marsinge:s goal. In the 74th minute Reynald Patin shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigue Laure saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raoul Lepeltier's late challenge caught a Marsinge's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Raoul Lepeltier helped the player get up and apologised. After 76 played minutes Millery got a freekick which was hit by Raoul Lepeltier. A hard shot 82 in the game by Matheo Fontenelle from a close distance when the talented Jean-Marie Vernhet managed to make a qualified save. Marsinge's players were relieved. A collision led to Millery getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Romuald Laffargue hit a great ball. Rodrigue Laure was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 95th match minute, Marsinge was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anatole Renouard to maneuver through the defense. 96 minutes into the match, Marsinge's goalkeeper Jean-Marie Vernhet had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Matheo Fontenelle. In the 98th minute Millery were awarded a corner. Flavien Garbe went to the cornerflag to take it.
