Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Éluard Frugier started the match with the kick off. Martin Donat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 6th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Couffin having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Monaco's Jérémy Barrot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that José Bouvard narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Martin Donat in the 22nd minute of play forced Monaco's goalkeeper Jordan Couffin to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Willy Houssaye came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the Frègefond fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Willy Houssaye couldn't finish the play. Frègefond's José Bouvard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éluard Frugier in the 27th minute of play. Jérémy Barrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. José Bouvard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Martin Donat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

In the 53rd minute, Frègefond's Joffrey Labruyère ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Jordan Couffin. Jordan Couffin yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. Frègefond's José Bouvard played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Éluard Frugier in the 60th minute of play. Martin Donat fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jordan Couffin having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Frègefond's goal looked a bit too open when Jérémy Barrot came free, but José Bouvard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Martin Donat in the 74th play minute got the chance to kick a hard shot on goal from short distance neither the defense or Jordan Couffin kept up with the ball and suddenly the score was 1-2 when the ball slipped into goal inside the left pole. After a rather tough play, Monaco's Lorenzo Carel got a free kick in the 82nd minute. In the 86th minute Éluard Frugier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Bouvard saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 93rd minute there was a penalty for Monaco. Bixente Halle stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving José Bouvard. 2-2. Willy Houssaye's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 98thth minute, Jordan Couffin skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
