Eddy Fresneau succeeded in the game's 3rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. After 8 minutes, Djimmy Busch mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Ménardais and the Horaie players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Ménardais's Djimmy Busch got a free kick in the 8th minute. Tim Hamon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Fred Desormeaux, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. Joël Hamilcaro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 12th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Eddy Fresneau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Fred Desormeaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Gauthier Ogier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 24th minute. Elias Couillaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The supporters of Horaie booed when Ménardais was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Djimmy Busch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Horaie's Joël Hamilcaro got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Tim Hamon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Joël Hamilcaro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 32 minutes into the game, Horaie's Joël Hamilcaro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tim Hamon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Elias Couillaud took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eddy Fresneau, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
The wind increased when Joël Hamilcaro made the kick off in the second half. Tim Hamon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Joël Hamilcaro's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. If Fred Desormeaux had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilal Coulange charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Bilal Coulange the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Ménardais got a freekick which was hit by Bilal Coulange. Tim Hamon was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Lorenzo Estival. Eddy Fresneau might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elias Couillaud. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Eddy Fresneau ran back to his position shaking his head. Eddy Fresneau fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elias Couillaud having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Ogier in the 76th minute of play forced Horaie's goalkeeper Elias Couillaud to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Gauthier Ogier had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bilal Coulange was shown his second yellow card after 83 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. After 84 played minutes Ménardais got a freekick which was hit by Bilal Coulange. Lorenzo Estival, 85 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Aurélien Névès fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tim Hamon having to interfere. Tim Hamon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joël Hamilcaro in the 96th minute of the match. Ménardais's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
