The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

Gwendal Gallas came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Herblay's Berenger Engel. But to his dismay, Berenger Engel quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. Patrice Leducq hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Garons's Faustin Bonvalet got a free kick in the 91st minute. Berenger Engel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 95th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle sounded Herblay left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Garons.
