Jean-Sébastien Fargier hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. When Robin Piat, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 8 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Augustin Adnet was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Rouland in the 13th minute of play forced Vigen's goalkeeper Dove Godier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 18 played minutes Vigen got a freekick which was hit by Jérôme Pautrat. Robin Piat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Augustin Adnet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Neuvecelle's Augustin Adnet proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Neuvecelle from getting a goal against them. After 26 played minutes Neuvecelle got a freekick which was hit by William Defour. 27 minutes into the match, Vigen's Marius Gales broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. When Pascal Rouland came up free with the goalie in the 37th minute, the Neuvecelle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascal Rouland couldn't finish the play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Robin Piat to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Jean-Paul Mauroy made a precise shot to the right of Augustin Adnet. Neuvecelle's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pascal Rouland in the 57th minute of play forced Vigen's goalkeeper Dove Godier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the match had gone on for 66 minutes, Amine Lenglet took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Dove Godier to make any attempt to save it. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adrien Hugon couldn't finish the play. Pascal Rouland received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Dove Godier tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Pascal Rouland came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Neuvecelle fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pascal Rouland couldn't finish the play. If Jean-Paul Mauroy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 92 minutes of play, Vigen's Robin Piat made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Augustin Adnet was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vigen's Dove Godier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascal Rouland in the 95th minute of play. Vigen's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
