In the 4th minute Tim Petton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Philibert Coquart saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Plascassier booed when Marchiennes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sofiane Lavorel didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 7 played minutes, Plascassier's Mamadou Mairet shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Philibert Coquart came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Plascassier reached it. In the 11thth minute of the game Tim Petton who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Marchiennes's Philibert Coquart was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, Marchiennes's Franck Zitouni got a free kick in the 11th minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 17th minute of the game. One of Marchiennes:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plascassier:s goal. The referee gave Plascassier a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Mamadou Mairet, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Marchiennes's Philibert Coquart. 0-1. Plascassier's Donovan Bourasseau played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cesar Marrot in the 25th minute of play. Cesar Marrot received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Donovan Bourasseau tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Leon Dubouchet received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. In a very dangerous position, a player in Plascassier fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 55th minute. Penalty! The referee gave Marchiennes a penalty, 57 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Ewan Goutorbe, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Plascassier's Donovan Bourasseau. 1-1. Donovan Bourasseau made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Leon Dubouchet in the 60th minute of play. After having played for 67 minutes, Leon Dubouchet managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Marchiennes's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leon Dubouchet was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Donovan Bourasseau took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cesar Marrot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th match minute, Marchiennes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Leon Dubouchet to maneuver through the defense. When Sofiane Lavorel fell near the penalty area in the 80th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Marchiennes's protests and gave Sofiane Lavorel a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute, Sofiane Lavorel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leon Dubouchet charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Leon Dubouchet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Tim Petton sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 96 minutes into the game, one of Plascassier:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 98th minute there was a penalty for Marchiennes. Ewan Goutorbe stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Donovan Bourasseau. 2-1. Plascassier's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
