Jacob Arnoult hit a great ball. Lionel Trinel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Daniel Troussier in the 7th minute of play. In the 9th minute Daniel Troussier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lionel Trinel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Troussier in the 11th minute of play forced Esconac's goalkeeper Lionel Trinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience was convinced that Lucas Sartori's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mehdi Ferréol was relentless in the 19th minute of the game. A collision led to Esconac getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Lucas Sartori hit a great ball. After a rather tough play, Esconac's Jean-Pascal Filippini got a free kick in the 35th minute. The long shot by Bilal Gascoin in the 36th minute really tested Lionel Trinel's skills. In the 44th minute, Gauthier Roulleau got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adam Revel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Noa Thomasset stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Mehdi Ferréol came out and tried to block the shot, but Lucas Sartori slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gauthier Roulleau in the 75th minute of play forced Esconac's goalkeeper Lionel Trinel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Malitourne's Mehdi Ferréol got control of the ball when Lucas Sartori tried to sneak it across the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
