Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Daniel Troussier started the match with the kick off. Riedwihr's Djibril Lafage played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Daniel Troussier in the 8th minute of play. In the 11th minute, Jean-Pierre Le Metayer hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mehdi Ferréol showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Billy Sarfati, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After 20 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Malitourne! Mehdi Ferréol went to the wrong direction when Jarod Marcotte was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Djibril Lafage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Romain Vion, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Malitourne's Gauthier Roulleau got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 27th match minute, Riedwihr was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Baptiste Gaume to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Malitourne's Jacob Arnoult got a free kick in the 29th minute. Aymerick Luce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mehdi Ferréol having to interfere. Gauthier Roulleau's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Djibril Lafage read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 34th minute of play. Malitourne's Jacob Arnoult got a good chance for a goal in the 39th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 47th match minute, Malitourne was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gauthier Roulleau to maneuver through the defense. Gauthier Roulleau stood ready after the free kick and tried to head the ball into the goal, but got pushed from behind by one of Riedwihr's defenders and the ball went out. Malitourne appealed in vain for a penalty, the referee looked over at the linesman, but the flag stayed down. No Penalty. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.
The wind increased when Billy Sarfati made the kick off in the second half. Gauthier Roulleau sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Malitourne's Kylian Schlosser got a free kick in the 63rd minute. Billy Sarfati might have been able to make a better finish in the 66th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mehdi Ferréol. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Billy Sarfati ran back to his position shaking his head. After 77 minutes, Kylian Schlosser mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Malitourne and the Riedwihr players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Riedwihr booed when Malitourne was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kylian Schlosser didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Malitourne's Daniel Troussier sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Djibril Lafage narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Djibril Lafage took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Troussier, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 89 minutes into the match, Malitourne's goal looked a bit too open when Billy Sarfati came free, but Mehdi Ferréol reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Daniel Troussier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Djibril Lafage having to interfere. Daniel Troussier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 92nd minute. Djibril Lafage tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Gauthier Roulleau came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Malitourne fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gauthier Roulleau couldn't finish the play. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
