After a defensive mix-up in Bois Impérial's zone, Brandon Vandeputte stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Yves Carpentier came out of the goal and Brandon Vandeputte tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 7th minute Brandon Vandeputte shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Yves Carpentier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bois Impérial's Yves Carpentier proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 9th minute of the match, managed to save Bois Impérial from getting a goal against them. 14 minutes into the match, Pfastatt's goal looked a bit too open when Maximilien Chatain came free, but Victorien Crozet reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 14th minute, Maximilien Chatain made a precise shot to the right of Victorien Crozet. Pfastatt's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Bois Impérial's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eugene Colombani was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Victorien Crozet showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eugene Colombani, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Pfastatt's Roger Leman got a free kick in the 27th minute. Eugene Colombani fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Victorien Crozet having to interfere. Maximilien Chatain received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Reynald Henriques fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Yves Carpentier having to interfere. Yves Carpentier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Brandon Vandeputte, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. When Gildas Malbec fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pfastatt's protests and gave Gildas Malbec a yellow card for diving instead. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eugene Colombani was the one to do the kick off. After 54 played minutes Pfastatt got a freekick which was hit by Guillaume Calixte. After 55 played minutes Terry Tremoulet scored with a long sweeping shot just to the left of Victorien Crozet who was too lazy, 0-2. Brandon Vandeputte's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Yves Carpentier read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 58th minute of play. In the 61st match minute, Pfastatt was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Reynald Henriques to maneuver through the defense. Eugene Colombani's late challenge caught a Pfastatt's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eugene Colombani helped the player get up and apologised. In the 68th match minute, Bois Impérial was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eugene Colombani to maneuver through the defense. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Bois Impérial would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
