Patrick Vidot sent away a hard shot on goal in the 15th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Patrick Vidot struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Robert Gibert didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Toulouse. In the 23rd minute, Erwann Chabanne hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mohamed-Ali Bonnefoy could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Robert Gibert made a huge save. Greg Soares didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Bastien Balan went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Patrick Vidot's late challenge caught a Pégomas's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Patrick Vidot helped the player get up and apologised. Patrick Vidot kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Erwan Deram in the 43rd minute of play forced Toulouse's goalkeeper Greg Soares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Greg Soares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Erwan Deram, who was totally free with the ball in the 48th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Patrick Vidot to make the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Mohamed Delassus hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Pégomas's Mohamed Delassus suffered a sore thigh after 60 minutes and couldn't finish the game. Tanguy Tesnière helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61st match minute, Toulouse was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tanguy Tesnière to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Toulouse booed when Pégomas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maxence Rousseau didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Pégomas's zone, Patrick Vidot stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robert Gibert came out of the goal and Patrick Vidot tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Erwan Deram came up free with the goalie in the 69th minute, the Pégomas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erwan Deram couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Thierry Parfait during the 78th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Toulouse booed when Pégomas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 78 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thierry Parfait didn't get a good kick on the ball. Noël Parfait hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute, Vivien Wartelle sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Pégomas's Robert Gibert didn't even have to move. 87 minutes into the match, Patrick Vidot notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of Pégomas's Robert Gibert. Robert Gibert was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mohamed-Ali Bonnefoy's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robert Gibert read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. If Patrick Vidot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
