Celestin Le Guellec received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Daniel Rigollet tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 19thth minute of the game Jacques Letourneux who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miré's Emmanuel Puissant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Emmanuel Puissant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacques Letourneux in the 20th minute of the match. After having played for 26 minutes, Celestin Le Guellec managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miré's supporters crossed their fingers, but Celestin Le Guellec was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Emmanuel Puissant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jacques Letourneux, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 32nd minute, Celestin Le Guellec managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miré's supporters rose to their feet, but Celestin Le Guellec was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Daniel Rigollet breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Celestin Le Guellec struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Daniel Rigollet didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Miré. Roger Uzan hit a great freekick 40 minutes into the match. In the 46th minute, Jacques Letourneux got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Emmanuel Puissant showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Arnold Poirel in the 54th minute of the match. After 59 minutes, Aymerick Gauthe mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Miré and the Triez players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 59th match minute, Miré was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aymerick Gauthe to maneuver through the defense. In the 60thth minute of the game Arnold Poirel who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Miré's Emmanuel Puissant was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 63 minutes into the match, Jacques Letourneux had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Emmanuel Puissant. Miré's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jacques Letourneux was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. Jacques Letourneux struck a weak shot in the 68th minute. Emmanuel Puissant didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Triez. Daniel Rigollet took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maurice Segura, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Maurice Segura fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Daniel Rigollet having to interfere. Roger Uzan's late challenge caught a Miré's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Roger Uzan helped the player get up and apologised. In a very dangerous position, a player in Triez fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 81st minute. Penalty! The referee gave Miré a penalty, 83 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Henri Ferrie, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Triez's Daniel Rigollet. 2-1. Daniel Rigollet stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Maurice Segura's shot from short distance in the 87th minute. Jacques Letourneux sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Triez's Daniel Rigollet played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Maurice Segura in the 99th minute of play. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Miré fans cheered their team off the field, for while Triez had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
