Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Honoré Degrémont made the kick off which started today's match. Bézannes's Félicien Nadaud proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Bézannes from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Yves Alain managed to get in a good position for a shot. Bézannes's supporters rose to their feet, but Yves Alain was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jean Naudy breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jean Naudy made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yves Alain in the 20th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Epagny's zone, Greg Mandin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Naudy came out of the goal and Greg Mandin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Honoré Degrémont received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Félicien Nadaud tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Félicien Nadaud showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Honoré Degrémont, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Jean Naudy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg Mandin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Greg Mandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Yves Alain to make the kick off. Honoré Degrémont recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 51st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 54th minute, Paul-Émile Racaud sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Bézannes's Félicien Nadaud didn't even have to move. After a rather tough play, Bézannes's Barthélémy Gayet got a free kick in the 55th minute. Gauthier Abadie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Greg Mandin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Félicien Nadaud showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gauthier Abadie in the 63rd minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gauthier Abadie in the 65th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Félicien Nadaud saved Bézannes from getting behind. After having played for 70 minutes, Honoré Degrémont managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Epagny's supporters crossed their fingers, but Honoré Degrémont was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Honoré Degrémont had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Gabin Lejosne came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Epagny fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gabin Lejosne couldn't finish the play. Greg Mandin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Greg Mandin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jean Naudy having to interfere. Epagny's Jean Naudy played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Yves Alain in the 87th minute of play. Jean Naudy stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Yves Alain's shot from short distance in the 88th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Epagny's zone, Yves Alain stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jean Naudy came out of the goal and Yves Alain tried to chip the ball over his head.
