The Rozérieulles fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. Bernard Boscher fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barthelemy Ramillon having to interfere. Cesar Mao received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Barthelemy Ramillon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 14 minutes into the game, Cesar Mao recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Barthelemy Ramillon. Cesar Mao showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. Rozérieulles's Barthelemy Ramillon proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to save Rozérieulles from getting a goal against them. Cesar Mao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Bernard Boscher had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 24th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernard Boscher who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 28thth minute tested the skills of Barthelemy Ramillon when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After 30 played minutes, Rozérieulles's Valerien Jumel shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Ethan Lopes came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Rozérieulles reached it. In the 32nd minute of the match, Cesar Mao tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Barthelemy Ramillon saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Dimitri Moinard hit a great freekick 32 minutes into the match. Ethan Lopes showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Melvin Rault in the 35th minute of the match. Cesar Mao sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cesar Mao to make the kick off. Houplines's Cesar Mao got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Melvin Rault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cesar Mao had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Barthelemy Ramillon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cesar Mao's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. Rozérieulles's Barthelemy Ramillon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernard Boscher in the 73rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Rozérieulles's Bastien Daviau got a free kick in the 74th minute. Bernard Boscher sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Houplines's Ethan Lopes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Melvin Rault in the 82nd minute of play. Ethan Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Melvin Rault, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Barthelemy Ramillon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bernard Boscher in the 88th minute of the match. Cesar Mao fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barthelemy Ramillon having to interfere. After 94 minutes, Bernard Boscher made it 2-1 with a short kick to the right side. Rozérieulles's Barthelemy Ramillon tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Thierry Cuvier's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Barthelemy Ramillon read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 98th minute of play. After 99 minutes, Noel Jougla mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Rozérieulles and the Houplines players grew even worse after the yellow card. Rozérieulles's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
