But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Remi Herve couldn't finish the play. Reynald Scheffer made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pierre-Antoine Le Gallou in the 36th minute of play. 41 minutes into the match, Eden Clet had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Maximilien Bergeon. Bourdinière's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Eden Clet was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. When Pierre-Antoine Le Gallou came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Bourdinière fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pierre-Antoine Le Gallou couldn't finish the play.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Remi Herve to strike the kick off in the second half. Bourdinière's Lorenzo Bodereau couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 65th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Hardricourt. Reynald Scheffer made an important save on a dangerous shot by Pierre-Antoine Le Gallou in the 80th minute. Remi Herve received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Reynald Scheffer tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 86 minutes into the match, Bourdinière's goal looked a bit too open when Eden Clet came free, but Maximilien Bergeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. José Luneau was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 93rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. In the 97th minute Remi Herve shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Reynald Scheffer saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
