Pierre-Emmanuel Gacon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from André Urbaniak, who was totally free with the ball in the 4th minute. After 7 minutes of play, Malaunay's Louis Fouques made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jonas Jouanneau was left in no man's land by his defense there! When André Urbaniak came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Aingeray fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that André Urbaniak couldn't finish the play. If André Urbaniak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 21st minute, Yoann Olive had to leave the field with a concussion. After 21 minutes, Donovan Vivier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Aingeray and the Malaunay players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Aingeray's Donovan Vivier got a free kick in the 22nd minute. Mourad Pradeau took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 25th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Pierre-Emmanuel Gacon. Malaunay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 38th minute, André Urbaniak sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Malaunay's Pierre-Emmanuel Gacon didn't even have to move. Pierre-Emmanuel Gacon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of André Urbaniak's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. Jonas Jouanneau made an important save on a dangerous shot by Louis Fouques in the 41st minute. Aingeray's André Urbaniak got a good chance for a goal in the 46th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Pierre-Emmanuel Gacon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julien Marchal in the 52nd minute of play. 54 minutes into the match, Aingeray's Julien Marchal sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Pierre-Emmanuel Gacon narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Julien Marchal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 59 played minutes Aingeray got a freekick which was hit by Donovan Vivier. Malaunay's Louis Fouques got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 62 minutes into the match, Aingeray's goal looked a bit too open when Louis Fouques came free, but Jonas Jouanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 68 minutes into the match, Aingeray's goal looked a bit too open when Hector Sapin came free, but Jonas Jouanneau reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 91st minute Louis Fouques shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jonas Jouanneau saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Louis Fouques had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Louis Fouques struck a weak shot in the 96th minute. Jonas Jouanneau didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Malaunay.
